when I download the game and then try to open it I get that error I tried to find a solution but I could not find anything the strangest thing is that the error comes out from day 1 that is, I have not been able to open it since I downloaded it to be more specific is in the expansion bfa

Greetings,

Try to run the launcher as administrator and make sure that it isn't blocked by your Anti-Virus or Windows Firewall. If the problem persists do a re-check on your torrent, some files may be missing. Let me know if it worked.

Have you maybe tried most of these steps?

What i would have tried is the Following.

1. Clear Cache
2. Clear WTF
3. Remove the Read-Only attribute from the Main WoW root directory
4. Set launcher and the wow.exe as admin in the properties

If those 4 steps fail i will look into allowing the WoW,exe and the Launcher to pass through he firewall and antivirus with permissions to that folder maybe.

When I change the read-only attribute of the WoW main root directory, the error still persists, although when I change it I also check and it is still read-only, I cannot change it and I have also tried to delete the error folders and wtf the cache I do not have, I don't know why and I have reviewed and even download it by second you see the torrent and still the error also persists the issue even when setting firewall permissions

https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

It should work afterwards

I already had them installed before but I tried to reinstall them and even without good results
