could we maybe have sometime of warning or message system for downtimes for updates and maintains.

could put a message on the login screen in game or forum....

Whenever a server restart occurs, it is announced in advance in game.
Also you can always check if the server is online or not on our website:

yep server warsong seems to be offline on my side too ... Arkod or freakz staff ,any idea when warsong server will be back online ?

It's down for everyone, it will be back in due time. Devs are aware of it.
