[REJECTED] Sceptical mount drop rates since 7.3 in Legacy PvE

6 runs with 3 friends on 3 * alts * 5 bosses = 0.5 % chance * 270 drop tries = 135% without mount.
And about 150+ solo runs both normal 10 and 25.
And still no mount.


Please verify in the database if this mount drops at all in this raid, and also here's a list of all the dungeons and raids we are sceptical about drops since 7.3

- Vault of Archavon
- Firelands
- Zul'Gurub


Please don't close this ticket with the answer that the mounts were removed in cataclysm with the achievements, it's stupid.
Mounts should drop and also give achievement in all expansions, also they are in loot table - everything which is on loot table should drop.

And if you give such an answer, first think about how did some people obtain it on Legion Freakz through drop (no VP or donate)?

What we need is somehow be able to look on Freakz Web the Database drops, if the things we farm are obtainable at all on Freakz or they are bugged.

Anyway would be highly appreciated.
Also, I would be glad if you would let ma answer as well, not closing this ticket immediately.

Well, Firelands is currently loot bugged, see this Trello card > https://trello.com/c/JemNUVfr/125-firelands-buglist
So I suggest not running it anymore until it's fixed.

On the other raid and the dungeon, I don't know, no mentions on Trello.

However, for the mammoth for example, it's just a 0,5% drop rate (according to the database). It's not like the drop rate will increase the more you run it. Sometimes we go over odds, that definitely happened to me.


Additionally, no mount has been removed with Cataclysm, so not sure what you are refering to. However, during the Cataclysm, Zul'Gurub (and Zul'Aman) turned from raids into dungeons and received different mounts. So if you are refering to the old Zul'Gurub mounts from the raid (the tiger, for example), those are not obtainable anymore (except for on the Black Market or for example the vote shop.) The old raids are not available anymore, you only have the dungeons now and thus different mounts.

Keep in mind that every time you kill the boss and fail to drop the mount, it does not increase your overall chances of getting the mount. So killing the boss 99 times doesn't mean you will get the mount on the next kill.

As you can see here, there are a few players who got the mount. Mounts bought from the Vote Shop / WoW Shop does NOT reward the achievement.

What Emilia said ^ is also true.

Again, mounts bought from the shop does not reward the achievement, they are automatically learnt on your characters.
