Bug description: Can't hit Laminaria (from Stormwall Blockade) with AOE abilities such as the ones mentioned above, for example our tank couldn't Taunt, boomies couldn't Solar Wrath and probably many more we couldn't find.

Confirmed.

It is a general issue affecting some of the Area of Effect spells. It is known and being worked on.
If you suspect you have found more of those feel free to make another forum post with valid proof.
