here is the techer(pepy).

teacher * ; did I/you/he/she/it/we/you/they v1 , not v2 , because do took the time of the verb (do-v2 = did) (did I wrote/write) (didn't want to wrote/write)

@pepy : so , when u use should , it means you ought to do something , but you didn't . first of all , Clause Type I means that the sentence is real and going to happen . Let me show u what all types of clauses mean :

Red - Main Clause (MC) Blue - Secondary Clause (SC)

Type 0 : both verbs are at the same time in the main clause and in the secondary clause , also used as general truths .
It snows and it is cold outside .(present-present)
He was at home last night and he wrote his homework .(past-past)
I will go there and I will have some fun .(future-future)

Type I : in the main clause we use future(simple or continuous)/present simple continuous(it has the same form as the future)/may/shall and in the secondary clause we use present simple/present simple continuous/present perfect(simple/continuous).

I will run 1 km when u have finished your homework .
You will stay at home while i am talking to my friends .
I am going to visit you when you are at home .

Type II : in the main clause we use would/could/might/should and in the secondary clause we use past(v2) .
He would go there if he had time .
They would sing if they could (v2 of can) .
I might go there if you let me .

Type III : in the main clause we use would have v3 and in the secondary clause we use past perfect (had v3)
I would have gone there if u had let me .
They would have sung if they had had time .

So , type 0 and type I are both truth or are going to happen .
Type II and type III are unreal , because they reffer at something that could happen .

When you want to reproach something , you use "could have v3" like this :
You could have told me that my battery was low ! (we also use ! at the end of the sentence)
