Bladestorm activates 7 Whirlwind attacks, it should however activate only 6, 1 every second for 6 seconds - as the tooltip obviously states. Here's the screenshot to back up my claim: http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/7209/bladestorm7.jpg Also, I'm positively sure that Bladestorm lasts for 6 seconds and that the problem lies elsewhere.

Actually it should activate 7 (6 in 6 seconds + 1 at start) from what I read in the tooltip

Well I've done some more research on it and even though pretty much every single website states that it should attack 6 times - I've checked out some videos and I've bothered to count the number of whirlwind attacks that launch during a bladestorm and it seems that it does indeed activate 7 of them (I may have counted them wrong, but I'm pretty sure I didn't). God, I feel silly for posting this "bug" without being more thorough.
