why pve and not pvp?

Just curious why all the realms are pve and not pvp? Cause I'm tired of the gms insisting the exodus server is balanced when it clearly isn't. Obviously I'm not the first person to point this out and I'm certain I won't be the last. I've questioned about a temporary faction transfer and was told that wouldn't work, as that would make the server unbalanced.... Go figure :S. Pvp realm would fix all of hordes problems. Then maybe, just maybe ally wouldn't sit around in SW, talking penis size and strategy on boss fights from vanilla wow.

Just a thought... Like to see what ppl think. And why pve was picked over pvp.

cus server are unbalanced , atm the horde population is so big compared to ally one that making the server pvp would make it really hard to play as alliance (causing even more people to go play horde)

sadly till the population gets balanced there is no other way than keeping it pve

But see that's my point, gm's insist the server is balanced. Which I don't see how they can say that when every single person regardless horde or ally both agree that horde outnumber ally on avg 2:1

maybe open horde to alliance free character migration ? i bet many horde will go to alliance..

thats what i'm talking about, set a cap limit as to how many horde you will allow... example: first 100-150 character transfers free one time horde to ally. Once that event has capped you see how well the server is balanced and go from there.

Alliance in general seems like a stronger PvP faction. I never understood the QQ about faction imbalance. Whenever we want to do a rated BG we have to spam horde global for hours and only 1 guild/group is usually who comes at the horde side eventually (hai Poo).
Theres never been any problems for me to gear up my toons through BG´s and whenever i do bg´s now its most likely a win all the time.
Finding arena partners is quite ez on alliance side because everyone who has been looking have found a partner suitable for their skill.
And world PvP? That kind of thing is dead, since Bonerific broke up, there is no horde guild attacking elwynn anymore and i rarerly see any horde out in the wild either.

Alliance doesnt want hordes, because they look bad, smell bad and play even worse

well, aside from stupid sota, ally doesnt flat out beat horde in anything. Yes i agree most horde cant pvp worth a shit, idk why but it does get annoying. but sitting in org for 45mins waiting for a bg que is flat out retarded... and im sorry but why would you go to elwynn on a pve server? Not exactly thrilled with ppl who cant be attacked joining the gank fest whenever they feel like. Kinda pointless if you ask me.

But like you said with the rbg, maybe more regular bgs will give noobs practice lol. I know im not about to pug a rbg cause its flat out imbarrasing sometimes with some of the grps.

finding arena partners is NOT easy lol. i have 6 characters over 3k resil. im good on all [except 1, but still at least average on that one lol]. and guess how many arena partners i have? zero lol. i look, global, lfg, even these forums [check my thread], but no.. cant find 2's or 3's. well i did find some 2's a few times, but none had skype, and none used even 1 focus macro lol.

and yea, imbalance sux.. but if the server population wasnt so low, we wouldnt really even notice it.

arena frame macros have too many modifiers, in 2v2 focus macros are way better and in 3v3 you can have focus macros and mouse scroll to scroll through opponents

What are you talking about, arena macros are so much easier to use. You can switch targets much more efficiently, you don't need to wait for a rogue to destealth in order to /focus him, you can silence a mages opening shatter if you know which slot he is (which you mostly will), etc. etc.

Also how do you move if you are mouseover-ing people???
