Bad Luck Protection (Legendary Items)

Hello. I'd like to start a discussion regarding the topic above, the so called "bad luck protection," when it comes to having a legendary drop for you.

Recently, since the patch 7.3.5 update, I have been grinding nonstop for a legendary; may it be emissaries, rares on argus, treasure chests, weekly m0 dungeon tours, old legion raids(Emerald Nightmare Norm/HC/Mythic etc., daily heroics, relinquished tokens) name it and I've probably done everything that is bound to drop a legendary, if not, at least increase bad luck protection. So far, none has yet to drop for me. I know someone that has gotten 2 legendaries, one in a heroic, another in a m0 dungeon, in the same week. It's looking like pure RNG now.

To cut it short, I want to know if the bad luck protection is in place for those who have no luck with RNG at all.

I know there is a way to buy a chance at a random legendary at 1000 wakening essences but that's going to suck if that's the only way you're going to get legendaries while others just have it dropping for them while still getting wakening essences at the same rate.

This BLP is not working blizzlike whatever others say, is worse than on blizzard. I'm stuck with 1 legendary on some toons since start of last patch, tho I was doing M+, rdf, old raids, emissary and other things that should of helped to get AT LEAST first 2 legendaries.
And of course not a singe drop on new patch.
Tired proving them the obvious.

Same for me, doing all pve content for 2 months, high m+ and have 2 legendary but purchased by wakening essence... BLP is not working, in retail, 2 weeks at least for get a legendary.

yeah i dont know if its a scammy tactic to force players to donate or what but bad job freakz i hope its not malice what is responsible for this situation but your inability to fix it

Legendary drop chances and Bad Luck Protection are working as intended.

In the end, even with a bad luck protection in place, it's still a random chance whether you get a legendary or not.

On AVERAGE I'm able to drop 1 legendary every ~10 days on my main characters which I play a lot.

Still, my Warrior with only 7 days of /played time already has 3 legendaries, while my Rogue with 12 days still hasn't gotten a single one. That's how RNG works.

Thanks for the enlightenment @Sarah. I was losing hope that this post would go unnoticed. Somehow maybe I'm just having a long streak of bad RNG while my friend who just got 2 legendaries in the same week just had the good side of RNG. From the time I posted this, I still have not had a legendary drop for me. Still continuing the grind.
