Best in Class Event? Vote!

Would you like to see Best in Class Events?

This would consist in taking 16 or 32 players of the same class, and make them do challenges on a simple champion-ship mode until only one stands.

Every weekend we would take like two classes, so in one month every class should be done.

Please vote.

Haven't voted yet but here is my opinion:
-at this moment anything that promotes pvp is welcome, including an event like this one;
-would like to see something for us healers as well.

First I want to ask do you mean class vs class as in druid vs druid OR feral vs balance.
Now my opinion. I don't like dueling, and dueling same class or spec is really bad. I think it doesn't represent the skill of a player.
3v3 is true test of skill, but since we are on freakz... Anyway, just like Compulsiv said, at this moment anything that promotes pvp is welcome. And I'm actually glad that someone cares about pvp on this server.

I'm actually interested. Although the idea of a 1v1 tourney with more than 1 class might also wet peoples' appetite for PvP.

However, as Yaknib posted out, we need some ground rules like:

Best of 3. 10 minute fights (or Rogues will restealth with Recuperate up 50 times in a row).
Same spec. Useless to try Frost DK vs a Blood. Or a Feral vs a Boomie.
Challonge roster.
How do we pick players? How do we separate the nibs from the champs? Community vote? Gms decide? Current rating? Reputation?


All in all, do it. I'll definitely tune in.

Nu se va decide mai nimic la eventul asta, decat ala cu bulan de procs sau care stie vreun exploit de heal/dmg va castiga... nu dau nume Imbastyler WOG/Templar master kick pe rogue, mai bine ar fi sa se gaseasca 2 clase cu cel mai mare "balans" intre ele, si acelea sa se bata, am votat yep dar sper sa iei in considerare asta cu "balansul" si sa nu faci event Best in proc item/spell w/e.

Yeah, of course, we're not gonna elect the president on this event. Events are made to be fun, interesting and ultimately, rewarding.

I`ve read your last comment,Zohlomg, on the season topic and yea, it's true that the idea with seasons isn't the best way to promote PvP, i mentioned this already and i think Raster did it once aswell ( i don't remember).
A 1v1 event promotes,like the seasons idea, PvP only for top players. How do you know that such an event wouldn't make even more harm?

With your idea right now, you almost said "*** 3v3, lets make a 1v1 event".

Zohl, daca vrei sa faci un event 1v1 incearca intai niste dueluri si o sa vezi ca doar procurile conteaza.
Nu o sa fie distractiv pentru ca Nea Ghiorghita o sa dea doar crits si parry/dodge adversarului, dupa care o sa inceapa suferinta prin elwynn/durotar.
Plus ca nu avem nevoie de 1v1, ci de 3v3.
EX:
Vrei 2v2 -> just join
Vrei mass pvp -> join bg/world pvp
Vrei 5v5 (believe it or not) -> aranjezi cu un team advers si joci.
Vrei 3v3 -> ???? Pauza (e moldova si nu are rost sa dam). Cam asta e logica pe freakz. Deci trebuie facut ceva la 3v3, nu restul.

Si la noi pe server dupa ce se termina ,,eventul de fun'' sufera in durotar toti parlitii ca ala are gcd hack,ca ala are wpe pro,ca o dat dodge la stun si toate astea

Ca sa fie eventul echilibrat ar trebui ca cei care au iteme donate gen staff legendar,trinket spine sa nu aiba voie sa le echipeze ci sa joace doar cu itemele care pot fi lootate de la bossi care sunt activi pe server.
