Class Trail come back

Hi WoW-Freakz,

Can you please bring back class trail system. It was working great on 7.2.5 however after update it is gone. Not only it is a great promotional feature for new players to decide what class they are willing to dedicate their time and effort for. But it would be also a great tool to test spell mechanics and formulas of spells. And in case if they are wrong could be reported and fixed eventually.

Please consider this suggestion. I know most of your class mods are busy and don't have time to test everything with 100% precision. There are a lot of other people out there who are willing to help. Unfortunately they don't have access to every class.

We had a Public Patch Test Realm for ~2 months and players barely reported anything important. Also, I don't remember seeing many reports on 7.2.5 where players used trial characters.

Trial characters were just another way to exploit for them, we had to add hundreds of conditions during the previous patches 'cause they always found a new way to farm something using the trial characters.


Cmods did a great job, you can check trello @ classes board, each spec is working pretty much fine, a lot of stuff can be checked without any special access if you're smart enough.

The people that are willing to help should start doing it and if we consider they're doing a great job -> they will be recruited.

If you don't have a specific class at max level + some gear / etc, then most likely you don't really know how to play that class.

New players should watch guides before picking a class, they can get 2 boosted characters from the migration. (Also, leveling is very easy since we want you to focus on the Legion content)


This system would require a lot of time to be re-scripted for 7.3.5 and it won't have any impact.
