Cross-Faction

Hi there!

So I noticed that people from opposing factions are able to group up with each other through the Premade Groups function in the Group Finder(I). When one groups up with people of the opposing faction, through the method I mentioned earlier, they might find themselves incapable of giving those people any beneficial effects(healing, buffs, etc) or even find themselves able to attack their own party/raid members if they have their PvP Flag turned on. I find it strange, as a propper cross-faction system could actually be beneficial for the PvE community, without much of an effect on the PvP community.

Now, for the, in my honest opinion, weirder part about cross-faction grouping. If you group up through Dungeon Finder, then you might end up in a group with people of the other faction and everything works fine, as if playing with someone of your own faction! I find it very weird that this works different from the Premade Groups function.

Anyway, I really hope that there is a slight chance of this server getting cross-faction grouping (and maybe raiding/guilds?).

A similar thing has been done on MoP through our custom Raid Finder for PvE pugs, for guilds it might not be so demanding.

Group finder, bgs, dungeons are already crossfaction. I don't see the point in also allow players to manually create crossfaction groups

It would not be bad to do such things at the request of the guild masters.
For example, in the CIS there is no normal server, and we play with you, but since the server is still very young, there are very few CIS players.

It would be great if two guild masters could write to you or leave an application on the forum, and you would unite these guilds so that we could walk together in raids.

if you enable CF-Guilds along with the other options our friend said, there will be no difference between the alliance or the horde.
But seriously, IF you decide to enable this option then you should make race/faction change free for at least 1 whole week, You already know that lots of players sacrificed race buffs and abilities just because there are more players in the horde.
There's a reason blizzard is not doing this.

Crossfaction exists for dungeons, raid finder and battlegrounds for one purpose - reduce queue times, and as you probably noticed, queue times are fairly low.
Having crossfaction for anything other than that makes choosing between horde and alliance pretty irrelevant.
