Bug description: skulker needs a deep fix.

it wont be dismissed easily, especially if main pet is dead... sometimes it wont start attacking and just sit next to target and stare... which wont help.

also... it's basically melee... looking at it... it gets too close...

The Risen Skulker does not gain any benefits from being a Ghoul (because it very clearly isn't one), so it does NOT receive Dark Transformation, change under Sludge Belcher, proc Infected Claws (or Armies of the Damned), or count for Corpse Shield. Since it deals damage on its own, it won't proc any of your personal on-hit effects either, or provide any buffs or replenishment to the DK.
So - more than for most pets - it's basically a glorified DoT, except that it scales with the DK's Haste instead of Mastery, can only have one instance at a time, and can be killed by anyone rather than dispelled by healers. The Skulker Shot has been known to draw high amounts of threat, so it very likely will get smacked around if you don't keep an eye on it.

If the Skulker dies (and without keeping it as your focus target, you have no indication when it does), the only way to get it back in-combat is to cast Raise Dead - but Raise Dead cannot be cast as long as your Ghoul (and just your Ghoul minion) is up, so presently you have to dismiss your Ghoul to cast Raise Dead and resummon it.

Thankfully the summoning limitation doesn't work in reverse, so you can cast Raise Dead while the Skulker still lives if the Ghoul doesn't. Limit 1 Skulker at a time; recasting will just dismiss the active Skulker.
Additionally, once you exit combat, your character will attempt to automatically raise a Skulker even if your Ghoul survives.
Not much consolation in lengthier combat like boss fights, but a nice touch for world combat or patrols.
