Ok, So i rolled a NELF DH, you start in the right area, pick up a quest that teleports you to SW, watch a few cut scences etc and basically skip the whole DH levelling area, fair enough, After you do all that and do the quests given to you, you end up in new Dalaran where you pick up your hearth stone and tomes.

Then when i fly out to the cliff where the portal should be to get to the fel hammer, there is nothing there, i have deleted and re made the DH in case i missed something but no

Where did i go wrong?

You need to do a series of quests which open a portal on that island at the end.

Do not skip the Dh starting area it does work and has done since launch you need to reach the end of the vault of the wardens area to choose who u follow which is needed for the artifact questline as whoever you choose gives you the quest
