Many times I farmed raids/dungeons for weapons because of their unique look, spent hours, vote points and patience just to get my hands on a very special item. Everything for the purpose of transmorgification.
Many times, when I finnaly seized the items I've been farming for, I was ultimately disappointed.
Why? Because most of the caster/melee weapons' skins are all covered up by the enchants we have to use in order to get as effective in PVP/PVE as possible. Some of the weapons can't be actually seen under the enchant's glow.

Now I know some of you might say 1. „DON'T XMOG ITEMS THEN” or 2. „THERE ARE WEPS WITH THEIR OWN GLOW” or even 3. „THAT'S BLIZZ INTENDED” and 4. „DISABEL PARTIAL EFFECTS IN GRAPHIX”.

1. Why shouldn't I be able to transmorgify items if it is possible in game? What if I really like changing the way I look like? (well, you don't turn into a male in WoW if you're a gurl irl). There are hundreds of possible weapon matches for different ideas of colorful transmorg sets, most of the weapons are broken because of the enchant glows.

2. Weapons with their own enchant glow, which don't get covered up by enchants? (some weapons with their own glow STILL get covered up by the enchants, http://www.wowhead.com/item=71779#. and http://www.wowhead.com/item=22799 as examples.) There are very few of them and most of them look way worse than those broken by enchants (that's my opinion...). http://www.wowhead.com/item=21839 , http://www.wowhead.com/item=30723 as examples.

3. Finnaly, why should we stick to something Blizzard intended if it was plainly abhorred by the players? It's enough to google „enchant glows” to see a site with „2.” weapons, a site created just because of the unwanted enchant glows.
Blizzard made warlocks farm soul shards and have them keep dozens of bank/bag slots taken by soul shards (just because soul shards DIDN'T STACK) during Vanilla (the most horrible soul shard experience), TBC and WotlK, even though all of the raiding warlocks I knew (hundreds of people on official forums as well) HATED that. It was a very stupid, very annoying game mechanic. But blizztard finnaly changed it into something we see nowadays. Was it „working as intended” until powers of the Lich King were shattered and warlocks could finnaly enjoy well designed soul shards? It was changed because it was terrible.

4. Why on earth should I sacrifice wonderful spell looks just because of how stupidly enchant glows were designed?

So my suggestion is: implement an NPC/site option/something that allows you to choose whether you want enchant glows to be shown on your weapons or not.

I'd love people actually reading my post before replying. Lowering particle effects makes the spells look spectacular. Efflorescence circle for example explodes with bugs, flowers and leafs on ULTRA, while on LOW it's just a green circle with some patterns.

As for the parrot, I couldn't find a female with such... expression.

If you don't like some enchant's visual effect then only way to bypass it is to transmog weapon into model that has it's own effect, however the selection of such weapons isn't wide.

Pity that Blizzard while inventing transmogrification didn't make something similar for the weapon enchants.

This does not work. Are you really trying to convince me that changing an enchant would be equal to having no enchant at all? This is ridiculous.

@Wtfhaxx Transmorgification was possible during 4.0.6 here, it's also possible on 2.4.3. (I will not say the name of that server in public) Many people said it is not possible in the earlier (than 4.3) patches. That is why I posted this as a suggestion, perhaps a wise, blue poster will find/know/deny a way to make the non-visible enchant glow dream come true.

Thanks for telling me things I've written in the first post.
