[FIXED] [Death Knight][Unholy] Apocalypse army of the dead damage in pvp

Bug description: The army of the dead ghouls summoned with Apocalypse spell deal too much damage.

at 14:11 we see that those ghouls deal ~4400 per hit on cloth armor - fire mage (it's the orange pet damage on the right)

I did a test earlier today and on my monk - leather armor I was hit for 11k noncrit per hit.
Unfortunateley I forgot to printscreen that damage but Tikky can confirm this..

With that UI we cant know if that DK has the ghoul on hit effects fully stacked or he even has that trait or anything else that increased the damage, and we dont know either what was your situation


Also by any chance did you test this in a duel ? Since you mention only 1 person. Keep in mind that on INSTANCED pvp like arenas and bgs the damage is REDUCED because of the scaling system. But not so much on duels. So if you tried the damage on duels you got it completely wrong .

ED: Reading your other topic it seems clear that you tested this on a duel, so yeah pretty much the report doesnt hold.

I tested int in duel but after we did dmg on the pvp dummy. So we took the pvp templates.

It's the same thing.
I took ~ the same damage from a dk's ghoul in arena. That's why I did the tests and checked videos to compare. Because I found the damage to be very strange - I took ~60k noncrit ghoul autoattack (while he was tranformed so 3x dmg) - that's not right.

The Army of the Dead summoned by Apocalypse spell don't do too much damage. They work properly. I tested it in a challenge(pvp instance) and 1 ghoul deals 7k+ damage without Armies of the Damned damage buff, 11k+ with Armies of the Damned damage buff(stackable). I have 45 traits on Unholy, which means 10% increased damage from Fleshsearer. I'm 869 ilvl and I tested it on 866 ilvl death knight(Plate armor user). Taking all of these in consideration, the damage from ghouls is fixed, not too high/low. You also have to keep in mind that their damage can be increased in a fight by the Fallen Crusader enchant that death knights have and by races passive/active racials (like Strength from Draenei, damage increased to all pets for Orc and its Blood Fury and so on, depending on your race). About the death knight that tested the damage on you, it's important to say that his ilvl is higher than yours with 10. That difference is very important in pvp instances. Also, the ilvl of the death knight from your proof video is unknown, but looking at his hp, he might be lower than me(869), so it is something normal for him to deal less damage with ghouls. But this is just my opinion and I tried, in my arguments, to focus on every single detail that I could see.

this is from an arena where a dk played against demon hunter and mw monk. two leather classes.
Every army of the dead autoattack damage is ~11k

I tried to find in the video I posted above army of the dead dmg on leather target but I could only get the values on a fire mage - cloth ~4400 and a fury warrior - plate ~ 3800 (I think)

Fleshsearer is not active in pvp instance, is only for PvE. Ilvl DOESN'T MATTER in PvP.

My pets do not do more than 6k per hit, however i am missing some weapon traits on my unholy artifact

Magicqtz, ok, I didn't know about this detail where blizzard doesn't care about pvp anymore, but still, ghouls summoned by apocalypse get increased damage from Fallen Crusade enchant, which means that their dmg is increased by the trait related to this enchant. That's still no need to say their damage is too big, knowing how many buffs, racials, enchants can buff their damage.

This was fixed I believe with the new pet system.
