I suggest that you re-read the issue. If this was about a priest specific bug, Life Cocoon wouldn't have been mentioned in it.
My topic is related to the crowd controls like Polymorph not breaking when you take damage with an absorb shield like Life Cocoon, Power Word: Shield, Clarity of Will. If a mage does that and you have absorbs, when the specific mage starts casting Frostbolt at you, you will remain polymorphed and it won't break until the absorb goes off.

This also affects spells like Fear. Let's say some warlock feared you and the fear should break after.....200k damage (random number). If you have 1.5 mil absorb on you(as disc), the damage will break after 1.7 mil dmg done from the warlock which is WRONG as well.

So spells like poly/blind/incap/etc should break INSTANTLY if you take any single point of damage, even if is ABSORBED.

Spells that break after X damage taken like fear/roots , should break after X damage taken EVEN if the damage is ABSORBED.

If you have shields/absorb effects on you does not mean you can die in a fear/root.

It is obvious what you want buddy-blinds,saps,sheeps etc. to break if your priest takes even minor damage on shield and your rogue teamate stealth not to break from AoE if you have put shield on him...But you provided no proof anyway

CC now breaks when you have absorb on you.

Old status:

Confirmed.

If you have an absorb on you and in CC that breaks on damage. The CC should break if you get damaged regardless of it getting absorbed.

Retail Example:

0:04 - Premonition broke Blind
0:18 - 0:23 - CC list that can break during you being in absorb aura.
1:41 - Premonition broke Poly
