Bug description: Hitting pvp dummy grants Principles of War which trigger Train of Thought. Relog removes Principles of War but Train of Thought buff stays till entering instance or entering another pvp combat. PVP talents should work only in pvp(combat or instance).

The aura you see is purely an indicator, it does NOT grant you any bonus damage (the actual aura that gives you the bonus damage is invisible, and removed when the talent is removed). So this is just a visual bug, you don't actually benefit from it at all.
