Bug description: people in my guild are still getting massive fps drops when hunters use windburst in raids , please do something about it

The fix occured almost half a year ago. It's a well-known problem and it's difficult to fix it entirely without ruining it's visual aspect. As for the confirmed part, I'm unable to recreate due to the fact that my computer has decent specs.

mine too , but it's happening for most of our raiders, i would just say to remove the visual particles fom windbusrt effect.

It would be nice for all to play w/o 50% render scale when in raid with hunters or frost dks. With that setting the low fps is gone but the games looks like you are drunk and it is foggy while you need glases.

Frost dks have nothing to deal with fps drop, their sindragosa's fury doesnt generate any fps drop anymore.
Just the windburst eat up the fps of the ones with lower PC's..

A solution could be removing windburst visual just in raids/dungeons, i didnt saw any1 complaining about it in PvP instances.

You can't remove it from one area and keep it in another. If you remove the visual, you're removing it for good. Quicksand should be the one deciding if the particles should remain.
Here are a few pros and cons about removing:

PROS:
1. People wouldn't have FPS drops anymore.
2. People would stop arguing and start taking hunters into raids, hence making life easier.

CONS:
1. The path which Windburst created would be missing, making the movement speed much difficult to use in certain situations ( not for the hunter, for the other players, if it will ever be fixed)
2. The visual aspect and the eye orgasm whenever it will be casted.
3. The pleasure of making other people lag.
