Bug description: Freeze effect doesn't break despite target(s) taking damage (on all mage specs). Frost nova Freeze effect also doesn't break when taking damage in PvP.

This is valid for every root in the game , not just nova .

Can confirm for https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=102359&&name=mass-entanglement . Happened yesterday in a key, the mobs were caught in roots for the entire duration of the spell.

Confirmed.

Roots don't break from any damage to the rooted target(s).

It's the same as with Mass Entanglement report that Garn confirmed, and pretty much all roots in general.

Was fixed months ago by a generic fix that allowed all Roots to break from damage.
