The only bug is melee hit dmg from xuen is too low. Gargoyle hits u 60k per cast more or less ,the imps summoned by imp swarm hit u 10k each one and u say xuen deals so much dmg.

So if I pop Xuen, but don't use Tigereye Brew until say...30 seconds in, he'll receive the 20% damage increase? Correct, buffs gained after he is summoned will still apply to him. Ideally you'll want the buffs up before he is summoned so he has more time a DPS buff.

Mistweaver version is supposed to hit between 3-4k ( non crits ) and ~~8k crits, while Windwalker one is supposed to hit between 5-7k non crits and ~~~10-14k crits.

It seems it's a bug regarding AP coeficient (I think)
With ~68k AP on MW, xuen's lightning strike is ~34k so it's ~50% x AP

The formula for lighning strike should be 33% x AP http://wow.gamepedia.com/Invoke_Xuen,_the_White_Tiger
So with my 68K AP it should hit for ~22K

I always thought that xeun should hit for ~60% of AP but this part :

You are confusing XUEN INHERITED ATTACK POWER with SPELL ATTACK POWER COEFFICIENT, these are 2 different and unrelated values.

Spell attack power coefficient is 50.5% as seen in the spell tooltip https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=123996&&name=crackling-tiger-lightning (and on wowhead changelogs/etc) and this is already working correctly.

Currently Xuen seems to inherit 100% AP from the Monk's AP (when instead it should inherit 33% judging from the patch notes). This would mean that both lightning strike AND melee attacks damage will decrease by x3. Can someone check videos to compare owner attack power and lightning strike damage? This is the easiest way to decide if what I said is correct

At 1:19 we can see his stats, Attack Power being 66170.

At 11:15, when Xuen is already called, the user has the following buff: 5% Increased Intellect from Legacy of the Emperor. Xuen hits the warlock from 11:18 for 1.9k-2.4k~ non crits to 4.4k crits.


On our server however, with almost the same stats as the monk in the video (and the same buffs ), ( only ~ 200 AP difference between me and him ), Xuen managed to hit a player for 6.8k ~ non crits to 13.6k crits.


So, yeah, if it would inherit 33% it should hit exactly as in the video.


I also noticed something strange on the Mistweaver spec:

Attack Power buffs like Battle Shout / Trueshot Aura aren't increasing the mistweaver monk's attack power, ok, however, if you equip an agility item as a mistweaver, your attack power will grow pretty well.


Also, after you fix it, better rename the topic to ''[Fixed] Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger damage'' so there wouldn't be any players complaining about its damage from now on.

That's why i said ''ok'', yeah, you won't benefit from other sources of attack power. My original question was, why for example equipping an agility item as Mistweaver increases your attack power? Agility should increase Attack Power for Windwalker / Brewmaster specs and Intellect ( / Spell Power ) should increase Attack Power for the Mistweaver spec.

Judging from your video, if the player has 35k attack power xuen should have 12k attack power (33%) and he should deal 6k hits (50% AP coefficient for lightning), but he deals 15k. So these numbers aren't correct either. We need more info

Still doesn't make any sense, the numbers in all videos look completely random, no corelation between attack power and actual damage...
