[FIXED] [Paladin][Holy] Beacon of Virtue vs. Velen's Future Sight

WoW Freakz item link: Beacon of Virtue and Velen's Future Sight.

Bug description: Velen triggers the Beacon and it shouldn't.

Proof:

We can see 4 * 1361041 from Virtue and the 3402602 HS on his portrait.
Before he casted HS on himself, he was 3.38 mil.
5.24 - 3.38 = 1.86 - the amount the shock healed.
3402602 - 1860000 = 1542602 - overheal
1542602 / 2 / 3 = 257k, pretty close to 294, might have missed the LoD buff, Versatility, or other modifiers.
There's nothing else besides.
Also bear in mind that that Beacon fully healed 3 players, so Velen would have had plenty of overheal to work with => Velen does not trigger Beacon.
Same problem like HERE, Velen's heal does not count as your healing and if that applies to the (direct) healing trinkets, then Velen should make no exception.

This happens on Freakz.
Velen heals even before the Flash landed.

Let's follow this situation a little bit:
2 players, full hp
256k flash goes 40% into the Beacon, 102k, checked.
256k overheal / 2 / 2 (because there's only 2) = 64k, checked.
And this is where it should have stopped.
Yet, there's more,
The 102k beacon is split again into Velen's, 102 / 2 / 2 (only 2 people) = 25k.
And the 64k proc from Velen's gets back into the beacon 0.4 * 64 = 25.6. (proc from proc).

This is might not seem much of a thing on small scale, but in a raid with some gear, it's BIG (Atonement like before fix big).

I haven't tested it with other beacons, but I guess the situation would be the same.

The same thing applies to each healer’s healing spell. What BoV actually does is to multiply the overhealing done by the number of affected people.

I don't understand what's happening in the first picture, but
in the second photo you uploaded, Velen works as intended,
There's a 631k overheal. 50% of it means 315 (base Velen heal) and this heal is split up to a number of 3 available players (1, 2 or 3), in your case just two. 315 / 2 = 157.
The problem is with the Beacon, because it's triggered by all heals instead of ONLY the ones that the paladin can cast.

It is already confirmed and a well known thing that bov is triggered by all heals so there is rly no point in this post,but ye you are right.

That post does not include Velen which is not exactly the same with the listed ones. If it's that well-known then maybe you should have made the post a long time ago, since you're a pala main.

Even with this bug fixed, beacon will still have x2 hits compared to retail(i assume cuz of prydaz or leech). But if it's so well known why no post was made? And how about mana on paladins? Because almost no1 on blizz used beacon of virtue for raids, cuz it was too mana starving, on freakz u can use it without any problem cuz u will have plenty of mana to work with anyway.

Beacon will still have x2 hits compared to retail, but beacon’s uptime is half of BoF’s.
Also, who claimed BoV was too mana starving on retail?

Sry for the late reply.
Wasn't active last 3 month and wanted to properly analyze this topic as it is not a small problem.

To keep it short, beacon > velens > (should not transfer again as velen heal is not a paladin spell).
Here you can see it kinda again like in the first post:

At 22:01 he casts holy shock for 1.5k, 80% of the heal gets transfered to beacons due to t20 boni = 1.2k
3x 186k is heal from velen as some of the heal went into overhealing.
After this 186x0.8 = 148k "would" apply back to beacon of virtue if it wasn't a bug, but there is no more healing so velen did not trigger beacon again.

At 28:07 he uses beacon + velen again for one holy shock and again transfering 655k/1.296k crit to himself and 3 other people. Then velen heals 3 people for
639k and beacon doesn't heal again.

I hope that there is no mistake in me reading the simcraft code, but maybe Quicksand can confirm my assumtion regarding the proc flag...
Anyway after checking several videos I never saw any proof that velen's would trigger beacon again.
