Bug description: Starfall gets evaded all the time, it happened this evening to me and to the other balance druid at mythic skorpiron... and i had confirmation on discord too

I can confirm, it happens in Mythic Key too.
If you relog will fix temporarily but when you switch form (example: cat,bear) and switch back to Moonkin the bug returns.

It evades on everything when the bug occurs. I was on Skorpyron and evade all the time. I think it may be because of Unholy dk dots but it's hard for me to test and it's Just an hypothesis. The fact is that The bug is real.

As you can see, the units dont get the Starfall debuff and it does not deal any damage at all
Up until now, this happened to me inside multiple dungeons, and also in Open World.

And also there are instances that Impeccable Fel Essence (legendary Ring) does not work inside Mythic Dungeons and Raids and LFR. I will create another Topic for that, but I said it here cause I think there is a Link between these 2 bugs, that being they are bugged inside Instances most of the time

It's really hard to say what's actually causing this bug, I've tried to reproduce it but I can't find the trigger, it seems extremely random. It seems to bug out every 2-4 dungeon runs, I've had the bug start at the start of the instance and I've had it start practically at the end of the dungeon. (Worked all the way up to killing Fenryr and then it was broken when I arrived at Skovald's minions.) Nobody other than me hit any of the mobs or bosses until Fenryr which makes me think even more that it's caused by another class+Bdruid

I've yet to have the bug start in open world, it always seems to start from a dungeon and once bugged in the dungeon you will also be bugged in open world as seen here: https://youtube.com/watch?v=Yf6ta-Sdfsk:



I believe it has something to do with an interaction between druid and another class as when I run dungeons solo starfall works fine.
I'll edit my post later once I finish running enough dungeons, with who was in my party what dungeon we were in and what point starfall stopped working at, hopefully it'll help.

I've also had the same thing happen in some keys . It just seems as if all of a sudden starfall will just start evading or simply not do any damage . The first time this happened to me was in maw of souls ontop of the boat , so i thought maybe there was a texture issue there . But it also happened in CoS and there are no such problems there .

I've tried to replicate this bug, now it happens when i use Shadowmeld with talent https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=202342 (wowhead link) after Meld the starfall begins evade on all units.
If i don't use talent Shooting Stars it doesn't happens.
Second time it's with same talent and if you switch Cat Form --> Moonkin Form it happens again, starfall start to evade on all units.

I tried to replicate it as you said, doesn't seem to work. Shadowmeld while in combat and out of combat with shooting stars doesn't break starfall. Also switching Cat>Moonkin doens't break starfall either, switching from any form to moonkin doesn't break it.

If you can actually break starfall every time with this method maybe make a video? Would help a lot

Okay so I've found the issue that causes starfall to break. The issue is from being flagged for PVP. Which can happen in quite a few ways actually, If you're playing a night elf you can shadowmeld in Stormwind while in combat (attacking target dummies) and it will flag you and break your starfall.

If you're in a dungeon with someone who is flagged and they're in combat and you're also in combat with the same mob and you shadowmeld you will flag for PVP and break your starfall. (I believe this applies to all combat bugs as well, not actually tested but pretty certain it does.) If you're not in combat with the same mob as the person who is flagged and you shadowmeld you will not flag yourself.

I should've tested it earlier but I don't usually run resto affinity but I would imagine that if you were running RA that you could end up healing someone who is flagged, flagging yourself and breaking your starfall. Really the only explanation I have for druids that aren't NELF. Other than just straight up flagging yourself for PVP.
