Getting better gear

Hello,
I have a question about getting better gear. I have currently 861ilv on my char - from WQs I can get 855+, but it is rare to get something higher than 855. When I am trying to go on mythic+ everyone says, that 860 is too low to do m+6, but even from m+6 I can't get better gear than mine is. So how am I supposed to get better gear? For that moment I am somehow stuck in "too low gear to get better gear" loop...

actually it's not too low, but most people wants to do mythic+ with higher gear, so it become more easy and minimal time and they're gonna push it to 15+ maybe (if affix good enough)
so, you must do your own key and gather people or get help from friends and guild

Hello. As tulusshoptelu said above, doing keys at your ilvl (basically between 850 and 880) is tough because people tend to invite better geared people so that they can run their keys in less time. As suggested, you can either do a mythic 0 run and get your own key, which you can then boost with people (either random people, friends, or guildies), or you can get invite to guild runs. Another option is to do LFR NH, which is 865+ and is nice to kick-start your mythic content.
