Getting kicked off for not using the launcher even though I am, I even re-downloaded the whole client from your website today and still getting same thing when I log in.

Please open your task manager, close all processes related to Freakz and World of Warcaft, then restart your computer.

I have done that It worked yesterday and it happens again today I have once again did same thing restart and it didn't work I have even re-download yet AGAIN the whole client it didn't work. It just start doing recently haven't done this in past 3 months just last week had been doing this. Have you done any fix or updates that might be causing this ? very frustrating as I want to play it and have only 1-2 hours to do so don't want to keep fixing the same issue every day.

Windows 10 has done an update supposedly which might be causing it.

Check your Windows Firewall settings, some of them were reset with said Windows update, the Windows Defender may be blocking the launcher now, as was the case for some users.

Hi, i am having the same problem now, been off the game for a week and now all of a sudden i am unable to play due to launcher bug -.- did the whole task manager thing, still same problem. any i dea how to fix it?

It's all good but I am using Win 7. still I have done what you said I have enable the firewall for Freakz nothing happened I have enable firewall for whole folder nothing happened I have disabled firewall all together for the time of starting a game nothing still kick me out after 15 second of logging in. Very frustrating as i want to play and I can't :/

Try the following things (not all at once, do it one by one)

Try the following solutions:
- Redownload the launcher
- Set all launcher_freakz and WoW executables to run with administrator privileges
- Delete the WTF folder
- Move the WoW client to another location on your hard drive, for example the Desktop
- Delete launcher_freakz-64.exe, launcher_freakz-64.dll and Wow-64.exe

Are All the files, exept Data-folder supposed to be read only?

Hello Rughsp,

No, they can be, but there's no reason for them to be. In fact, having the WTF folder set to read only can prevent ingame settings from properly saving.

However, that wouldn't cause any issues with the launcher, just the settings ingame.

i have the same problem.
so i was playing like a year ago and i wanted to go in and play more,so i log in choose my priest and i start playing when boom it sleeps me and kicks me after 15 secs dont have any screenshots i did run my task manager turned off everything bout freakz and wow and restarted my comp it didnt work im on windows 7 btw. please reply asap i really wana play but its really annoying thanks for reading this.

I might found the solution.
I had the same Problem and could solve it.
My anti Virus Program (McAffee) just did a dick move and isolated the freakz_lauchner.
To undo it, do this:

1. Open you AntiVirus Program

2. Click on the gear in the top Right Corner to open the Settings ( https://imgur.com/a/eth80ll )

3. Click on isolated elements

4. Click Restore at the isolated freakz_launcher file

do i try like closing it completely then go ingame or stmh?

Hello paladini91,

Open your Task Manager and close all processes related to World of Warcraft and Freakz Launchers, then restart your computer.

If you're using Windows 10, check your Firewall settings, a recent update has caused those to reset for many users, which may cause your launcher to be blocked.

Should that not work, try the following solutions (one by one, not all at once)
- Redownload the launcher
- Set all launcher_freakz and WoW executables to run with administrator privileges
- Delete the WTF folder
- Move the WoW client to another location on your hard drive, for example the Desktop
- Delete launcher_freakz-64.exe, launcher_freakz-64.dll and Wow-64.exe
