Lag problems

In the past couple of days it's been nearly impossible to raid (and PvP I guess) because of the massive lag spikes that happen while in a raid or a dungeon. I know for sure that it's not only me that's experiencing this problem and that the whole realm (Exodus) is affected, or at least the majority of players in there.
As for my question for the 'Blues', what exactly is causing this high ms and will (can) it be solved any time soon?

As far as i can tell only people that are not from Romania are lagging :S In other words 90% of our guild

From what I have noticed for the past few days (starting Monday iirc) players outside Romania starting having high latency. Unfortunatelly it became impossible to an rdf not to mention a raid, so even those that are not lagging are affected by this problem (since our guilds are mostly formed out of players that are not from Romania). I would like to know if GMs are aware of this problem and if there is a reason behind it or if someone is doing something to fix it.

Its horrible when your in a raid 2k+ ms :S

Yup.. outside raids its always a constant 200-300 ms and in raids its all hell breaking loose.. with random spikes of 20-30s delay and 3k ms..

This isnt related to the new PVP realm for the 3v3 right??!

I'm playing from Ro and i don't experience lag but every single guildie from abroad is having issues.huge issues,like 1-2k ms

1-2 ms?! loool man i have like 25-30k ms LOL uplayable tonight and wondering why the server is not restarting of that much lag

Serbia here, I have no idea what you are talking about. I'm getting around 33ms to 120ms without any lagspikes or random disconnects.

UK here, impossible to play.. just tried a BG.. got slaughtered with lag spikes of 25 - 35 seconds at a time.

It seems that we don't have the spikes anymore while in a raid group, I guess it's fixed (or the damn rain stopped).
