Launcher

Bug description: OK, so i was doing a random battle ground when suddenly my game crashed, i don't know why, then when i relaunched the game and logged in it was kicking me out cause it was saying i didn't have the launcher. This is not the first time i had this issue, its been many many times before, both while doing BGs, dungeons or even sitting in my class hall doing nothing. Also this is something i do not understand at all why do i have to install a launcher in the first place? Why not just use the original wow.exe whats wrong with that? Please fix this issue immediately or just remove the launcher as i said is extremely frustrating.
