Legion progress after character transfer

If I start leveling my Legion character (with the same name, class and race as my MoP character I want to transfer in the future), will my game progress in Legion be reset after the transfer? For example, if I reach level 100 in Legion, will my level be reset to 1 after character transfer?

Of course not, keep playing man. After a mounth or so you will recieve your mounts/achivs/pets and your level obviously will remain 110 with no changes whatsoever.
