Monthly / Weekly rewards for stats ladders.

Greetings,

I have been playing this game for a couple of years, and found myself being an achievement / hk's farmer.
I am not the only one doing that; the stats page is my proof.

But lately, it has become boring and pointless to farm those achievements / hk 's as there is no other reward but the pride to be among the most dedicated players.

That being told, we, the "farmers", think it would be nice to get some rewards bassed on our dedication towards the game.
Please consider this: we spent hundreds of hours on wow.freakz getting those achievements / hk's / played time.
What does this mean? Well , it's like this: because of us on wow.freakz were many more bg's , old content raids, world pvp and other things (gold , items , mounts ,companions etc)


Most multiplayer games are free to play, while their income comes from premium buyers / donnors etc.
But they understood something: the free players should not be forgotten. (they keep the $$$ players happy because they have other people to play with) That's why they created systems to reward them for: online time spent, rankings, kills etc.

So, relying on their strategy we (mostly I representing the others interests) came up with this proposal:
WoW Freakz, you should reward your most dedicated and loyal players based on their spot on the Achievement / Honorable Kills / Played time ladders.

Here is a suggestion:

1st place - 50 vote points
2nd place - 40 vote points
3rd place - 30 vote points
4-10th place - 25 vote points
11-50th place - 15 vote points
51-100th place - 10 vote points

At the end of each month, the players get rewarded for being in top 100 @ something. (achievements / honorable kills / played time)

This is just a suggestion, you can award them anything you see fit. (even $$$ ingame, but let's get serious, we know we won't get that lol)

You might want to say we're getting greedy, that we want so many free stuff, but after so much time spent playing wow, it's so damn hard to find motivation to keep going with this game. I'm here since the begining, i'd hate to see wow.freakz coming to an end. (let's be serious, from 3 realms and 4k players, we ended up with 1 realm and 2k players at peak. - some friends of mine quit wow and now are playing dota, lol, and other games because they said wow is getting boring!)

Sooooo... it's a good ideea to give rewards to the top players... BUT... monthly rewards? 3 months its ok.... because in 1 month, i think ( for achievs) much of them will not be fixed.

in the HK ranks every month can be a change in special to 100 rank range.

in the achiev ranks is more harder than it looks. this part is for the PVE players and should get more vote points from my opinion...BUT the pvp part is more important right now. more and more players are quiting wow because of the pvp situation so is a good ideea with vote points + events.

I would like it. But Achievements ladder is not very good idea as I think:
1. Ladder like "achievements total"? Who played from server start will get all the stuff every time
2. Ladder like "achevement points this month"? Create new character and farm Lorekeeper or World Explorer-related achievements every time? What to do for men who played for a while and completed nearly all achievements before?

I think good idea like "for (time period) ..."
1. "...honorable kills" - for PvP
2. "...gold received" - for auction traders and gold farmers
3. "...90+ lvl bosses kills" - for dungeons/raids. can be separated for raids/dungeons/scenarios
4. "...crafted items" - for professions. crafters can farm resources and make money like pt2
5. "...90+ lvl monsters killed" - for almost everyone, I think

about 3 and 5 - 90lvl is to prevent farming low-lvl zones and dungeons with 90lvl characters

maybe not all 5 different ladders gonna be needed, but it still good contest of players

That's a great way to encourage everyone in doing achievements. Like this,they will understand what wow's all about and can learn a lot about game's lore making them "hunger" for more lore info and you'll never get bored. That's my point of view.

Very good idea. It would be a good idea to create more stats ladders and reward players for their efforts.To be honest it's not easy to get to the top hk 's and achievements,but that's the fun.But it would be great to make a top for the most active players of the month,it increases the activity on the server.In the end players who are active should be rewarded .

No, there are many reasons, but the most important is that some achivements doesn't work now, and most of you (top achiv) made them on cata or wotlk when they worked, it would be unfair for a new guy that want to be in top 10 achiv, because is a 97% that a new guy can't reach 14k points achives right now.

Don't bring suggestions that will reward only you (veteran/old players) we need something for all of us, not only for you.

I agree with Evydence...i have Conquerer title since wotlk and some random guy from bg asked me if i got it on mop ,I said to him that i got it in 2011 when u could receive lots of reputation in bgs,among other achievs that u could only have if u played on wotlk and so on

Daca te duci la munca, dupa cativa ani de vechime primesti un SPOR SALARIAL numit SPOR DE VECHIME. Acel spor este modul in care firma iti arata ca iti apreciaza loialitatea. ANUAL se dau prime, tichete cadou, premii angajatilor cu o vechime de minim 1 an. Nu angajatilor noi, angajatilor cu vechime de cel putin 1 an. De ce? Pentru ca oamenii astia, cei care detin firme, corporatii etc. au ajuns la concluzia ca este foarte bine sa le arate apreciere angajatilor loiali, fideli. In acest mod ii face sa ramana in continuare alaturi de ei si ii motiveaza sa faca treaba buna in continuare.

Evydence, reprezentatul staffului in aceasta discutie considera ca nu e normal sa li se recunoasca meritele jucatorilor vechi / veterani care si-au adus contributia la gameplay-ul de pe wow freakz. Si nu numai la gameplay. Daca ii iau la rand pe toti din topurile alea, nu o sa gasesti unul care sa nu aiba vreo 3-4 mounturi donate, titluri donate etc.

voi ce parere aveti despre acesti jucatori care au petrecut sute de ore pe WoW Freakz farmand acele achievements, HK's...? Reprezinta ceva pentru voi, pentru comunitatea WoW Freakz? Au contribuit cu ceva la bunastarea serverului, la o mai buna desfasurare a diverselor activitati din joc mentionate mai sus? In momentul de fata, playerii care fac si pve si pvp, farmeaza si acheivements si HK's , sunt mai tot timpul pe server au vre-o insemnatate pentru WoW Freakz?

@ Sfanta Treime: Daca voi considerati ca am venit aici sa ma milogesc pentru 10 vote points pe care le pot obtine intr-o zi de votare, va inselati amarnic. Este o chestie de principiu si o dorinta de a va arata ca trebuiesc recunoscute meritele JUCATORILOR care au fost ALATURI de WoW Freakz de ceva ani buni, la BINE si la GREU.

per total sunt prea multe vote points + ca trebuie script pt evidente la fiecare luna si\sau probabil reset la counters pe site si .. nu rezolvi nimic daca sunt retroactive, daca nu o sa fie retroactive, evident, o sa iasa hate ca de ce x trebuie sa faca iar sute de HKs ca el are deja mai multe ingame \ etc, ai prins ideea.
