This blocks a whole chain of quests, including the Grummle one in kun-lai.

Confirmed. On the MoP server you can click on the wooden log over the washing machine entrance in order to wash the yaks, but here it's unclickable.

Confirmed. Furthermore spell used to increase speed of Yak(called "Rush") stop run of the Yak when you use it. You have to click again a key to walk(foward, right, left etc..) to continue to run.

Still not working, you can ride the https://www.wowhead.com/npc=59319/escaped-yak but you can't wash it.
