Problems with the client/launcher

hey guys so in really wanted to start playing here but....

the client doesnt seems to work properly or doesnt start up
i got the CAS error once in the middle but the mainproblem was the damaged installation
i tried everything from the solutions but nothing worked in the long run
i was able to log in once but i couldnt see any models for the character creation
then i tried to relog but i got the damaged installation report again
after another "repairsession" nothing worked either and when i tried to repair it with the battlenetclient i got upped to BFA

now i deleted everything and i try to redownload it
i hope everything goes well then
funny thing was i was unable to uncheck the read only
i tried it multiple times and change rights in the properties and everything-> strange

well if someone would like to help me
(i even have teamspeak for that matter)
i would be most grateful

till then... well time to download 46gb

Seems like reloading fixed it ^^

Same...Exact...Problem. im also getting the CAS CDN error. cannot uncheck the read only each time i do it resets itself. and all the other suggested fixes doesnt help. i really dont want to redownload 46.8 freaking GB, as downloading the client took a loong *** time.

Are you sure you're getting the "failed to create storage component" CAS error and not the "failed fetching the CDN configuration file" error? Because the CDN configuration file error has nothing to do with read only. Go to your Data folder and delete the "config" folder inside. Then place this one there instead: https://www.wow-freakz.com/wow/legion/config_23420_2.zip

Tried replacing the config file and it worked. Thank you. Currently awaiting to see if i can transfer from another server. Wont say the name for advertising reasons.
