PvP Seasons on WoW Freakz

This is a post about the ongoing PvP "pre-season" and some suggestions for the arena system here in general. I'm Dougdannger, currently have over 700 arena games played on Freakz since this February and have set a record on WoW Freakz for the highest 2s rating.

I've tried every private server there is, every expansion, and Freakz by far has the best scripting. When you logon it feels like you're logging into the real game, so thanks for that.

However, the current pre-season has been going on for over 8 months now, why? It's not fair on those people who play Freakz specifically to PvP, and there are many of us who do, simply because the legion scripting here is better than any other server.

Last season, the highest rated person in 2v2 was 2178, the player ranked 50 was 1741

This season, or "pre-season", the current highest rated player in 2v2 is 2739, the player ranked 50 is 2230, even higher than the highest rated player of last season.

In light of this, could the admins please reconsider this being a pre-season, make it an active real season, and please redesign the awards system? -All of the participation in WoW Freakz rated pvp is in 2v2, not in 3v3, yet in the previous seasons the greater rewards were given in 3s - this doesn't make sense. There are hundreds more players playing 2s, the rating is higher, the queues are near instant up until 2.2k rating, and right now it's impossible to get a queue pop in 3v3. I've sat in the queue for 4 hours in 3s last week and haven't received a single queue pop. People are playing 2s here more than 3s, therefore the greater reward distribution should be in 2v2, until 3v3 is at a state where it's actually active. I want to push in 3v3 but I can't simply because no one is playing it. If I queue up for a 2s game, even though I have almost 3200 mmr, I'm only waiting between 5-8 minutes and I face a team.


Weekly PvP Arena Caps are not working - I am nearing 600 wins in 2vs2 and haven't received a single cap, nor does a bonus roll appear at the end of 10 weekly wins as it should. In addition, there is no honor gain for winning arenas when you're supposed to get 160 or 80 per win. Arenas are supposed to be the primary source of honour.

Distribution Suggestion:
2v2 - Top 4 Players get a Rank 1 title (essentially 2 teams). Next 16 get Gladiator (8 teams). Next 30 players Duelist, Next 50 Rival, Next 100 Challenger - This would mean Players ranked 1-200 would get rewards - huge appeal and way more activity, way more people donating to come and play here since it's the best.

3v3 - As stated before no one is currently playing it, but same sort of system reduced to take into account that generally more people will always queue 2v2 in contrast to 3s, so - Top 3 players get a rank 1 title, next 6 get Gladiator, Next 9 Duelist, Next 18 Rival, Next 30 Challenger - meaning players Ranked between 1-66 get a title from 3s.
This would motivate people to queue more and encourage more people to play arenas

TLDR: Could the ongoing PvP "pre-season" be reconsidered and awards distributed differently?

I 100% Agree with this post. If they fix some bugs and add rewards to Rated Arenas, next season will be the top one. Good post +1.

I fully agree on that. Would be nice also to fix Skirmish bonus week cuz it doesn't work since the patch was released and people think that bonus actually works, but it doesn't. This's such a troll :/
Abusing skirmish is really cool to farm people ngl, and this thing ain't banable okay...People can literally non-stop queuing skirm and keep killing people and do it over and over again...And u guys tell me this ain't banable? Nice Freakz.
Literally in Goldshire everyone is doing it right now lol, how cool is that?

I agree with this post 100%, lack of PvP rewards can steer players to PvE even if they don't enjoy and with that can and will cause players to leave the server.

Totally agree with this post.
The truth in all this matter is that Wow Freakz doesn't put much on his part in encouraging the PVP. There are some Hispanic speaking people that have the same feeling of Dougdannger. I speak from my Warlock Zepto and my Priest Joiki and of course from my arenas partners Badchoice Rogue, Estesipega Shamy, Evilcraft Priest, Dethorx Pally, Killerbaren Druid, Egeasop druid, Sarkani Dk and my others friends, who are currently in the top of classes; I also express my support to Doug from Armada Roja Guild, our main idea is to encourage the PVP from what we can.

This post should be taken into consideration. This should allow alot of PvP oriented players to enjoy their experience on freakz more definitely agree

Totally agree, I am Badchoice-rogue from Armada Roja brotherhood and the post is very accurate in what it says. The server community plays mostly 2v2 arena and should also be motivated to do 3v3 as it is almost non-existent. It is a very good server and I am happy to be part of its community, but I would like the pvp on the server to be taken into account since there are many players who participate in it.

Totally agree aswell with everything listed. I think arenas should give better rewards and to fix the honor system. We pvp players are suffering out here while pve's are getting mythic argus done
