Bug description: Spirit Of Redemption only lets you heal yourself using renew. Flash heal, Heal, Greater heal, and spells like so doesn't work. You are unable to hear yourself in this spirit form.

Hello,
It works the exact same way on retail, if you read the tooltip "cannot be attacked or targeted by any spells, or effects".
