Bug description: Mind Sear still doesn't work after the server crashes in the morning. When damageing the main target with Mind Flay, even though it has a Shadow Word: Pain debuff,
Mind Sear AoE still does not damage the secondary targets.

I believe the breaking of Mind Sear coincides with the hotfix for Explosive orbs affix: https://trello.com/c/czCqbfP2/621-affix-explosive-mind-sear-and-fel-rush-should-not-hit-explosive-orbs
As we do not have an Explosive affix scheduled for the next coming few weeks:

Would it be of any possibility to maybe, perhaps consider rolling back this hotfix in order to get the Mind Sear properly working, and have the team come up with a different hotfix in the mean time?

If you cant fix it at least make mind sear an active ability again

can confirm this; it doesn't damage anything except for the main target

something changed, it now mindsears always, even the main target
it should be mindflaying the main target and mindsearing enemies around the main target

this is an issue because mindflay has a higher damage than mindsear

I've been away for about two weeks, and I just tested this again.

As far as I can see, mind sear is working properly right now, maybe even too good since the damage it deals is the mind flay base damage and not its own damage.
Below is a video of me mind flaying the dummy in the priest class hall, the hits on the main dummy "bound void walker are the ones that are 1M and the mind sear hits are the ones that do 98K onn the wraiths.

Right now nothing I have tried to break it actually results in the damage not going of.

If anyone can show me an example of the spell not working correctly from the last few days that would be great, since I haven't found anything that proves it's broken right now.
