Bug description: when the target is affected by Doom, if u use another one Doom on it, the first Doom deals its properly dmg, however, the second one deals extremely low damage (I've seen in my Details! even 76. You'll see the screenshot). Doesn't matter if the double Doom is Doom+Doom, Hand of Doom (talent) + Doom, or Doom + Hand of Doom (talent), the second one always does extremely low damage.

AN EXPLANATION
The bug is not from the talent Hand of Doom, the origin of the bug comes from when you cast one Doom, and after that, another one, to stack 'em (yes, you can do that. One way to do AoE).

While the bug report is legitimate, though terribly explained, it will not help the case. The class mod won't do anything about it

I can confirm this.

As you can see from here https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=603 (wowhead link) in the first green comment " Refreshing Doom and taking advantage of the old "Pandemic" mechanics will NOT delay it's damage - it will STILL tick every X seconds, based on your haste (original value = 20.0s)." That means there is no clipping in the damage and it will do its full damage every X seconds.

The fastest you can refresh doom is based your gcd (1.5 seconds by default https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=61304 (wowhead link)). If you refresh Doom instantly after applying it, it will add 30% of its duration up to 26.0s. If we take the whole process its going to be 20.s base doom duration + 1.5s gcd + 6.0s pandemic = 27.5s total doom duration. As stated before Doom will tick every 20.0s so the first tick will hapen 20 seconds later and there are going to be 7.5s left of the duration which will result in a partial tick because of pandemic. 7.5s out of 20.0s is 37.5% a.k.a. the partial tick will do 37.5% of the base Doom damage.


This is the minimum % partial tick damage the spell will do. Adding haste will reduce proportionally both the Doom duration and the gcd so it wont change the numbers unless you use the Impending Doom talent but even then the partial damage wont be less than 20% of the base damage.

The base damage for Doom on a geared character is around 650k meaning that you shouldn't get a tick which is lower than 120k yet as you can see in the video above the player has a tick of 2.2k
