Wowhead/WoW Freakz Link: https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=3110&&name=firebolt
Descrierea bugului / Bug description: Doesnt scale properly with warlock's spellpower
Dovada / Proof:

direct_power_mod:0.618000
base_dd_min:111.86
base_dd_max:124.88

Average damage with 6320 spellpower should be:

((111+124)/2) +6320*0,618 = 4022

Ingame damage

I don't know if imp's spells should scale with https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=84739&&name=cataclysm but the damage is too low anyway

http://db.mmo-champion.com/s/3110/firebolt/
It's the correct formula for that ability.

There are different wow online database and all have a diferent formula in tooltip so stop taking formula from tooltips. The one from simulationcraft is good for 4.3

I think mmo-champion is a very good source, however it doesn't mean I linked it only because I think so. I linked it, because I couldn't find any other site with your formula.

I've found these (they're only examples):

Quote:
Firebolt: Deals ((((((($SP * 0.50) * 0.657) + 124 * 1 Fire damage to a target.

Source: http://www.wowhead.com/news=185834/patch-4-1-ptr-build-13793-new-icons-items-and-spell-changes#warlock

Quote:
damage=${(($SP*0.50)*0.657)+$M1}

Source: https://code.google.com/p/simulationcraft-swtor/source/browse/engine/sc_spell_data.inc?name=release_113-1&&r=cbbdb358da88943ded5556c3fb1aa0b5ca94c9e4

Please, give a direct link to your source, so we can clearly find useful information about the formula. (:

EDIT:
I've found this magic spell power coefficient on a simulationcraft site, however it's strange that only the site says it's 61.80% and not 32.85%.

Do you know to use Simulation Craft? If answer is yes you'll find there the dataz from needlegun's post.

The one with 32.x% coeff is most probably the right one, needs some testing first.

If we take that formula "[124 + 32.85% of SP]*1]" the damage will be even lower. i've made some test myself and here is the results:
screenshot without spec and glyph -> http://oi46.tinypic.com/2qtami9.jpg
screenshot with spec and without glyph -> http://oi47.tinypic.com/34sgj07.jpg
screenshot with spec and glyph -> http://oi47.tinypic.com/11c46c9.jpg
using the above formula with my spell power i get the following [124+2110]*1]= 2234. the right formula is the one from the first post.
also looks like the spell it doesn't benefit from mastery since the pet does the same damage without spec and with spec.

Firebolt shouldn't benefit from destruction mastery.

I must say i got confused with all these numbers but eventually i figured something out.

Imp:

Quote:
damage=${(($SP*0.50)*0.657)+$M1}

X*0,50*0,647 = X*0,3285 - 32,85% of spell power

shadow bite

X*1,228*0,5= X*0,614 - 61,% of spell power

http://www.arenajunkies.com/topic/193346-another-pet-buff/page__hl__shadowbite here we can see some post about shadowbite with known numbers

I dont really know whats this common for all warlock pets 0,5 modifier and from where it comes ,but seems like both imps firebolt and shadowbite damage are working as intended,at least formula wise

Here is the correct formula
Deals (((($SP * 0.50) * 0.657) + 0) * 1) Fire damage to a target.

So we have Preach's 4.2 vid here regarding Destro Warlocks and we notice that :
@ 6:00 - We see his Spec & Spellpower ( 5983 )
@ 15:00 - We see his Glyph's and observe that he has Glyph of Imp
@ 6:24 - He starts casting on a target with no CoE up and we notice his Imp Firebolt dmg of 2500~ on avrage (2496,2494,2502)
@ 15:35 - He starts casting again this time on the same target but with CoE up and we notice his Imp Firebolt dmg of 2700 on avrage [due to the curse's effect +8 magic dmg => 2500+(2500*0.08)=2700]

Now if we take into consideration what Needlegun said Preach's Imp Firebolt dmg should be {[(111+124)/2] +5983*0,618}*1.2(from the glyph) = [(117.5+3697.5)*1.2]=3815*1.2=4578 (wich is clearly wrong)

Needlegun comes with another comment below stating "I dont really know whats this common for all warlock pets 0,5 modifier and from where it comes ,but seems like both imps firebolt and shadowbite damage are working as intended,at least formula wise"

oMSQo comes with his comment stating "
Here is the correct formula
Deals (((($SP * 0.50) * 0.657) + 0) * 1) Fire damage to a target.
http://web.archive.org/web/20120824113854/http://www.wowhead.com/spell=3110 "

Doing the math for this formula in Preach's case goes like {[(5983*0.5)*0.657]+[(111+124)/2]*1.2} = 2499.49 => clearly proving that Imp's Firebolt dmg on Freakz WORKS just fine .

=> thus the statement "No Bug Here" ensures .

" you are "
