Thats Tyrannical affix for you , the item Prydaz, Xavaric the Magnum Opus was made for this moments , to avoid one shot death mechanics

According to adventure's guide, that shadowbolt has to hit for 1.8m x 3.8 x 1.15, that's almost 8m on m15, hitting 6.2m deosn't seem that high to me, you're just undergeared or need to use some CD.

I've seen some skills hit way harder than what it says on the adventure guide, more like, getting reduced less than intended like Ymiron's dark slash, Helia's water barrage and Dantalionax's Chaotic Energies BUT that's maybe something with damage reduction formulas, in this case you didn't use any defensive cd so you got the full hit on you.

It's working fine
