Today a friend of mine replied to a post on global where a guy said he wants to trade an account for another account. He didn't give his password, just his account name. He started getting lag and when he wanted to log on a few hours ago he got instant disconnect. When he logged back all his chars were naked, full ruth/ cata chars.
I will take a screenshot of the post on global. Anyway, don't get lured in such scams.

PS to Mods/GMs: Make a post about good account security practices, there seem to be many cases of account theft.

I still don't understand why the heck would people fall for such idiotic stuff... Acc trading... Dude, you either play with your account, or yuo don't play at all...

This isn't retail where you actually have something to gain from acc trading.
Those acc traders should be banned just for wanting to do it here, and they will only make people with bad acc security stop playing here because they got tricked or something.
Not to mention they are very annoying with their spam on global.

Actually it's bannable, just noone reported him.

Wether he did or not, I believe him, anyway, this post was not to judge anyone, it was as a warning. The guys name was Hurcain or something like that. Still no ss though

Never ever give your password to a person you dont trust 100% NEVER !.
A few years back i made this rookie mistake on my Blizzard account .... some people just have to learn the hard way i guess
