Read only

Cant remove read only .Tried taking ownership..

Happened to me when l moved my os to ssd.

Hello Balkanboss,

please read the Read-only attribute closely. ONLY applies to FILES IN A FOLDER.
There's nothing wrong with the screenshot you're showing - that's how it should look like. Folders can not be read only, nor not read only - only the files inside them can be. This is why it displays a squared box instead of a tick or a blank box - this is the state for folders. If you check your files inside your folder you'll see that none of them are set to read only.

Why am l getting this error than?
The CAS system was unable to initialize / failed to create storage component / shared memory file data/data/shmem / E_STORAGE_INIT

Hello again Balkanboss,

You are not getting the error you're mentioning. Your error says failed fetching the patch configuration file - which has nothing to do with "Read Only".

Please download this file: https://www.wow-freakz.com/wow/legion/config_24742_2.zip - Then go to your WoW folder, Data folder. There you will see a folder called "config", please delete that and place the one you just downloaded there instead.
