"Working" Proximo

Hey guys,

the problem with Arena Frame addons on this server is, that they crop the arena frames from the original interface. Unfortunately those are bugged, which automatically bugs the addons out too.
I managed to make an old Proximo crop his opponents via mouseover, therefore it is working in arenas.
Unfortunately, since I've done these changes, I haven't been able to restore right- and leftclick, which was working previously. If anyone with some LUA knowledge could have a look into that (or even Gladius for that matter) that would be great.

To change the position of Proximo, go into your WoW folder/WTF/ACCOUNT/SavedVariables and open Proximo.lua
under the profile for your character, add

["y"] = -16.37917422626742,
["x"] = 200.1962490033657,

You may change the coordinates. I hope this is helping some people and I will try to fix stuff myself, but I have little to know programming/LUA knowledge, so don't expect anything.

So it is a positioning problem of the addon that makes it unable to use?

Its weird cause like Gladius, you position the addon. So My thoughts where that it wasn't enabled to show arena frames. Maybe Proximo works a way around it by saving some "Mouse over" information like you mentioned but seems weird.

No, Proximo isn't written for 4.0.6 which is why repositioning doesn't work.
I rewrote it so it tracks enemies via mouseover instead of the (broken) interface (arena frames not working on this server, bugged by default).
So you can use that Proximo now, but to move it in your interface, you need to change coordinates in your profile.

Gladius doesn't work because it tries tracking enemies via the interface instead of mouseover. Otherwise it would work, I think. Except it doesn't seem to recognize that the player is in Arena and doesn't even activate sometimes. So it would probably need to be rewritten to "work always" and not just in arenas.

Hi, i've tried your proximo, but the only thing it does, it tracks teh enemies through mouseover, and it only shows if target is dead. Hp doesnt move, mana doesnt move, no casting, no trinket no nothing. Am i doing something wrong or its just that? Does it work the same for you?

It changed the HP for me, if I remember correctly. If it doesn't, I'm not sure I could rewrite it to also constantly update the enemies via target/focus/mouseover. From what I've seen in the code, that should actually be done already. I'M not even using it anymore, I decided unless someone with actual skills decides to have a look at it, I'm going to play without AddOns.
