Posting this in here as well.
Totems also do not benefit from hit.
On my enhancer shaman with 3% melee hit and 14% spell hit my totems miss sometimes in PvP, while even 6% spell hit should be enough ... |

Yeah totems do not benefit from hit. (Haste as well)
