Bug description: The Spirit Wolves should be using the Spirit Bite spell.

Proof:
This website post talks about the Enhancement Shaman changes in MOP and mentions the new Spirit Wolf ability.

It says "Warlords Patch 6.0.2 (14-October-2014): Feral Spirit's Spirit Wolves no longer have the Spirit Bite ability" if it was removed in Warlords of Draenor, it also confirms it was used in Mists of Pandaria.

0:18 You can see the pets dealing damage with something which resembles the icon of Spirit Bite.
