It only gives 15% absorb on tank specs. However the tooltip still shows 25%, it's actually a visual bug misleading you. But it is only supposed to give you 15%.

The pets and guardians inherit Haste from the DK, not attack speed. They get no benefit from it.

The tooltip can't know the target's hp.
