Am dat eu de mage rogue, m-au dus la 20% in ROF dupa care a dat magu deep full. In popor e numit skill.

Foarte stricat ROF, e ca un fel de stunlock, asta face mage rogue pe departe cel mai stricat si OP comp. Rogue incepe cu garote => kidney, magul iti da deepfreeze full si pune ring of frost peste si tu nu iti poti da niciun cooldown, daca dai trinketu iei altu instant si te tine acolo pana te omoara.

mag rog #1 skill combo.

Deci mage-ul da RoF, ii ia 3 secunde pana devine activ. Dupa alea 3 secunde cine e pe inel, partea demarcata cu alb, ingheata instant, playerii din centru sau de pe marginea inelului nu trebuie sa inghete. Spell-ul in sine e ca un freezing trap aoe, se sparge la primul dmg.

Daca freeze-ul e spart de damage/dai medallion/iei dispel, esti imun 3 sec in care poti sa pleci de acolo, daca totusi ramai pe inel dupa ce s-a dus timpul, ingheti din nou.

My 2 cents:

Am jucat pe retail si pot sa confirm ca ring of frost este bugged pe freakz. Ce trebuie sa se intample:

Cand casteaza magul ring of frost ar trebui sa se vada "cum se formeaza" si sa poti evita zona respectiva - Are o animatie cu aburi and stuff.

Ring of frost - odata format - te ingheata doar cand atingi marginea lui (daca iesi sau intri in ring). Zona din mijloc nu ar trebui sa te inghete deloc.

Odata inghetat daca ai luat damage nu ar trebui sa te reinghete decat daca intri din nou in ring (nu cum se intampla aici: damage, reinghet, damage etc).

Ma eu zic asa ca merge perfect pe jumate , cand dau rof il ingheatza 10 sec ca un stun .Atunci cand ii dau dmg nu il scoate ( dat pe player nu pe mobi ) . Insa nu vad pe skill cv de genu sa zica ca atunci cand dai pe playeri in actiunea skilului rof sa te scoata . Insa ar fi absurd sa fie asa .

I found it interesting that only creatures that actually WALK OVER the rim of the ring are frozen. Hostiles inside the ring are untouched, however, will be frozen if they attempt to leave.

Tested this on a trio of target dummies. Placed the target ring on the middle dummy, the two to the sides were frozen, but the middle was not.

Quite the interesting form of shutting someone down. Not frozen, but unable to exit the ring until it dissipates.

This is a very important fact about Ring of Frost.
The latest PTR patch notes have clarified this:
Ring of Frost: Radius shrunk to 8 yards, and inner "safe" radius is now 4.7 yards (exactly matching graphic). Dispelling the effect of Ring of Frost will now make the target immune to being refrozen for 3 seconds. If a second Ring of Frost is cast by the same mage while the first is still active (via Cold Snap), the first will now disappear and cease functioning. In addition, Ring of Frost now has a PvP duration of 8 seconds

The stun is not so much a stun as it is an Ice Trap - It breaks on Damage.
The 'Freeze' effect does not interact with Shatter.

In video se pot vedea :
1. Numai targets aflate pe zona "alba" trebuie sa ia freeze
2. Dureaza 3 secunde ca pets/playeri stand pe Ring of Frost sa inghete atunci cand e pus initial.
3. Ring of Frost nu se duce instant la damage. Functioneaza pe mecanismul Hex/Frost Nova etc. Dupa o perioada de damage se sparge ( % of Health ). In video se poate vedea cum atunci cand mageul da icelance si roguel da 1554 damage se sparge, dar pana atunci tot a dat <500 si nu s-a spart.
Cautati pe google "ring of frost break on damage" si o sa vedeti multe topicuri pe arenajunkies si blizz forums in care playeri vorbesc de faptul ca iau uneori 10k damage pana RoF se sparge.
4. Atunci cand iesi din inghet dureaza 3 secunde sa iei alt freeze ( 6:48 - 6:51)


Acest video a fost facut in 4.0.3a, in 4.0,6 fiind adaugate urmatoarele modificari la Ring of Frost:

2. Ia ceva damage in Ring of Frost ( dots ) si nu se sparge, dar cand apare hitul de 7.5k se sparge.
3. Dupa ce se sparge ring of frost, merge 3 secunde pe el si apoi este iar inghetat
