AddOns problem, help please...

Could you give us some more information about that? What do you mean "the standard way is not working" ?


You have addons and you don't know how to configure them, or you need to download addons?

The standard way I mean C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns

I have questhelper, atlasloot and others, but I dunno how to make it work, that icon AddOns just don't show on the screen with character after login.

I downloaded the freakz 4.0.6 wow through torrent, it doesn't need installation.

I think you need to enable outdated addons.
on your character login on the bottom left you see a button called "Addon" click on that and then up the window in the middle I think you can ckeck "load outdated addons" you need to do that.

You should always be able to see the button addons or you may have an error in your wow.


Another think you can check is that the addons you putted in your addon folder is that when you click on the folder in that folder there needs to be the .lua file, so if you got another folder in that folder you should reorganize that.

That's the problem - the button isn't there, it's there only if addons are in the right folder, but i dunno which folder i'm supose to put them in.

Dude, delete addons that you manually downloaded, and check Curseforge.com and download the 4.0.6 ones. Extract them in the "AddOns" folder where you have the game installed.

Then, before entering the world ingame (when it shows your character list), click on the "Addons" button and check "Load out of date addons".



It should work. If not, then you do something wrong.

I did exactly what you wrote, maybe I'm just jerk or it's problem in the program. Never mind, thanks for helping me.
