Hello fellow FreakerZ

Let me present our Guild Ejusdem Generis. We are a guild with some history, we moved already though a couple of Private servers and are settling down on this amazing server. We are Alliance side and progressing well trough the content.

Our Guild is mostly concentrating on PvE content so we expect from all our players to be available for boss fights if we need them.

Our guild is not about Quantity but Quality, we only speak English on the guild chat.

THE 5 TENETS

Courtesy (Ye Ui): the members of EG must be Polite and Respectful, to build a Noble Spirit and achieve their Goals in Organization.
Integrity (Yom Chi): the Ability to distinguish the Right from Wrong, and to recognize your faults, and be ashamed of it.
Perseverance (In Nae): Patience leads to Virtue and Merit.
Self-Control (Guk Gi): the Mightiest or Strongest is the one who Conquers Himself, not others.
Indomitable Spirit (Baekjul Boolgool): Modesty and Humility always, but Fierceness and Courage against Injustice.


Basic rules:

Eiusdem Generis does NOT welcome any kind of exploiters/hackers/cheaters, if they get caught, they will be instantly kicked from the guild.

Eiusdem Generis members are OBLIGATED to listen to the officers.

Guild members must inform the officers about their profession(s), or consult them if they are unsure about which profession(s) to take.

Guild members should inform the officers if they are unable to play for a certain periods of time due to whatever reasons (vacation, school… etc). Players may be removed from the guild due to inactivity.

Guild members should always be considerate of fellow guild members, respect and courtesy are above all else.


Raiding rules:

Eiusdem Generis members are expected to know raid boss tactics BEFORE any given raid. If some member is unaware of them while we're raiding, he/she may be removed from the guild.

Members MUST inform other raid members before going away from keyboard.

Members must always listen to the raid leader and the officers.

Members with any tank or healing spec must be ready to heal or tank if the raid needs it.


Looting rules:

If the loot type is set to Group loot, this is most likely because the raid leader has forgot to set it to master looter. This means everyone must PASS everything and the loot will be distributed as if it were set to Master Looter.

If the loot type is set to Master loot, NEED rolls (for your main spec only) come first. When no one needs the item, the raid leader will announce for GREED/OFFSPEC rolls.

While players are rolling, others must remain silent. Random rolling is not permitted!

NEED rolls for formulas/patterns/plans/designs/recipes/mounts are only eligible for players with the right profession and skill level.

Items are distributed according to a player’s activity status, the "worth" of the item to the player, officer evaluation and the player’s Class/Talent spec. Inactive members (players who come on one per week OR players who hardly show up for scheduled raids) and new level 85s have a lesser loot priority over active ones.

You may not pass any item on the condition that a player, specified by yourself gets it over the next deserving roller. If you pass, it means that you pass the item entirely and the second deserving person will then be entitled to it.

/roll on EG is considered nothing, but a means of showing that you need the item, in accordance with the propper spec announce that the ML gave.

Every time an item is announced to be rolled for (whichever announcement; need/offspec/greed) the officers look at the people who rolled, not their numbers. We then discuss who should get the item, again ignoring their numbers and call a vote on it. Whoever gets the most votes from officers (occasionally veterans are involved too) gets the item. Numbers mean nothing, Offcier votes mean everything. (These are sorted in officers chat)

An inactive member may get an item over an active member, if the active member has got enough for a few days

First of all I would like to thank you for checking out this post since it means that your interested in what we do as a Guild.
You should check out our rules and requirements before considering joining so that you don't have any wrong expectations of us and that we don't want you to do things that you may not want to do.

So we are a PvE guild and we are a community that places respect and politeness above all.

We are looking for members that know there main fully, so you can react and do things intuitively without having to think about your classmechanics. You can survive fast and change intuitively to what the raidgroup needs.

Raid awareness is a really important thing if you want to join our guild. So this means you will avoid all damage that can be avoided. Not only the damage you can avoid by you performance but all what can be avoid by the game mechanics.

Exceptional Application will always be considered.

we don't recruit by itemlvl since you can get gear so easy. We recruit by skill and raidawareness. you will be on trial in our guild to join some normal raids / dungeon Hc's to see how you perform.
