Dovada / Proof: The problem right now is that the formula is calculated wrong : 525 + (0.25*4*(($MWB+$mwb)/2 + AP/14*MWS)) and it should be 525 + (0.25*6*(($MWB+$mwb)/2 + AP/14*MWS))

The formula for calculating Rend's damage consists of 3 parts.
This is the total damage that will be done without any talents:

1) (Main Hand Weapon's Lowest Damage + Main Hand Weapon's Highest Damage) / 2
+
2) Attack Power / 14 * Main Hand Weapon's Attack Speed
+
3) Base Damage of Rend

To know how much each tick will do, simply take the total damage and divide it by 5. (5 Ticks in total)

So we have 525 + (0.25 * 6 * ((1795 + 2693)/2 + 10505 / 14 * 3.6)) => 525 + 1.5 * (2244 + 2701.28)=7942.92
To find out dmg for each tick: 7942/5= 1588
To which we add 5% from battle stance and 20% from 2h weapon specialization: (1588 * 25) / 100 =397
1588+397= 1985

Patch 4.0.6, e full vici baiatu'... da cu Rend constant peste 2k. Asta ma face sa cred ca Rend (wowhead link) beneficiaza de bonusul din Two Handed Weapon Specialization (wowhead link)

@Scott, eu zic ca "Main Hand Weapon's Lowest Damage + Main Hand Weapon's Highest Damage" se refera la dmg-ul de baza a armei, neafectat de attack power.

In nici un caz daca ar fi asa rendul ar da mai putin decat da acum , cat despre Two Handed Weapon Specialization practic isi ia bonusul asta din main hand damage.

Si Stue singurele dummy-uri cu resilienta sunt alea din elwynn forest bleedurile nu tin cont de armura.

Scott, am o intrebare:
De ce ai calculat damage-ul folosind auto-attack damage influentat de battle stance, si nu ai folosit minimum, maximum weapon lowest/highest damage cum zici in postul tau?!

Si din cate vad eu pe wowhead formula este asta: 525 + (0.25 * 6 * ((MWB + mwb) / 2 + AP / 14 * MWS))....Tu te-ai jucat acolo cu parantezele alea de a iesit un ghiveci !!

Calculat ar iesi asa folosind arma vicious (1795-2693 dmg, 3.6 speed)
525 + (0.25 * 6 * ((1795 + 2693)/2 + 10505 / 14 * 3.6)) => 525 + 1.5 * (2244 + 2701.28) => 7942.92 damage
Adica 1588 per tick fara battle stance si talente.


Este buguit, nimic de zis... insa oare o sa invete unii sa mai si inteleaga ceea ce citesc ?! Sa nu ziceti ca nu va ajut -

@Lonn...nu beneficiaza de 2h weapon spec; calculeaza ca de ex in cazul lui Scott la 10.5k ap cu talente puse cum trebuie sa vezi cat ar trebui sa dea dupa ce se stabilizeaza damage-ul si compara cu video-ul postat de tine:
7942.92 * 1.05 * 1.3 = 10842 => deci 2168 per tick

Intr-adevar, nu beneficiaza de 2h weapon spec.

O sa incerc sa vad ce e stricat la formula... cred ca va dura oleak avand in vedere ca sunt multe chestii de luat in calcul.

After a little *magic*... am descoperit ca formula pe freakz este urmatoarea:
{525 + 0.25*4*[($MWB+$mwb)/2 + AP/14*MWS]}

Cel putin asa mi-a dat mie... sa testati ca sa ma asigur ca e bine.

LE: Ty Mr. Faith pentru corectare, gresisem parantezele alea, am rescris si eu formula.

Da Lonn acolo este problema. Am testat si eu de 3 ori folosind aceeasi arma insa cu ap diferit cu 2k+ de fiecare data:

La 3923 ap am dat 660/tick cu rend in defensive stance
la 1177 ap am dat 518/tick cu rend tot in defensive
Si la 6467 am dat 760/tick de asemenea in defensive
Folosind arma cu dmg 1408-2113, 3.6 speed

Insa vezi ca tu ai scris formula gresit, fi atent te rog 525 + { 0.25 * 6 * [ (mw + Mw)/2+ ap / 14 * ws ] } asta e formula corecta, insa la noi foloseste 4 in loc de 6 cum ai zis tu.

Pt cine nu stie, sa explic formula: presupun ca stiu toti formula de weapon damage normalizat, ne-normalizat
[(w_dps + ap/14)* w_speed] care e echivalenta cu [avg_weap_dmg + ap/14 * w_speed]

weapon dps = average weapon damage / weapon speed
si average weapon damage = (min damage+max damage) / 2

Daca ne uitam cu atentie la formula a 2-a pusa de mine mai sus: [avg_weap_dmg + ap/14 * w_speed], vedem ca este inclusa in formula rend-lui.

Deci toata formula aia de la rend ar deveni 525 + 1.5 * weapon damage, si cum 1.5 inseamna 150% rend va avea urmatoarea formula:
150% weapon damage + 525

Fiind abilitate ne-normalizata logic ca foloseste 3.6 speed, si aceasta valoare impartita la 5 = dmg per tick: adica [30% weapon dmg + 105].

La ora actuala rend foloseste 100% weapon damage +525 adica [20% weapon dmg + 105] per tick. ( 0.25 * 4 = 1, adica 100%)

Am redus'o pt ca poate este mai usor de reparat asa -
