Nu nu nu, te bate.
Deci 100k TV initial pe 3000 resil si 20% reduction din armura la 50% mastery inseamna odata 50k Hand of Light damage care e redus apoi de resil (3000 res = ~30% reduction) deci vine 35k Hand of Light si damageul de la TV redus si de armura si de resil vine odata 70k cu reduce din resil si cu tot cu armor reduction ajunge la 56k.

except on this server it's calculated in a way damage reduction is applied twice and absorb nullifies the damage




hand of light damage is based on the reduced CS/TV damage and then reduced again by the targets (resilience/armor/absorb)


means

A:

if 10000 is reduced by 30%(resilience) and causes 7000 , hand of light's initial damage (20%) would be calculated as 1400 (20% of 7000) instead of 2000 (20% of 10000) and then it gets -30% resilience again causing 980 out of 7000 (14%) final damage instead of 1400 out of 7000 (20%)

B:

if full 10000 gets absorbed causing final damage to the target to be 0 ... hand of light will make 0 damage


Please script hand of light so it's base damage is calculated before (armor/absorb/resilience ..) is applied to CS/TV





A explicat el destul de bine cum ar trebui sa fie.

Confirm bug, this really is true. Damage should not be lowered 2 times. The same goes for Unholy Death Knight's Scourge Strike, wich uses the same mechanic. I've read about this on retail forums.
