Not sure if it's been mentionned, but shouldn't Archaeology digsites be randomized according to skill level? This may be a non-issue for players at 85, but for someone who's leveling @ x1 rates, you can CLEARLY see that you often get Hyjal or Grim Batol digsites even at the level you first get archaeology (20). I doubt this is supposed to occur and most digsites should probably be randomly given according to skill level (which correlates with the zone's level, Ashenvale would be 1-75 skill level and such while a zone like Blasted Lands would likely be 225-300).

Additionnally, I've noticed the randomness of artifacts that you get isn't limited by the skill level of the player. I'm able to craft a Zin'rokh already on a character that has 225 archaeology, when (according to the Atlasloot Addon) it's supposed to require something near 450... =/

Also not sure, but we should be getting more fragments with skill level. The max we should be getting is 3-6 at max rank and dwarves with explorer should be getting 3-7. =/

I'm currently at max rank on one of my chars and have yet to get more than 5 fragments on a find.

Patch 4.3.0 (2011-11-29): The number of fragments per survey was increased to 5-9.

The artifact in the air problem isn't fixed... Yesterday i was farming archeology and in Uldum i had like 5-6 pots spawning in the air and they were unreachable... Its waist of time... In the channel log says it is fixed but it is not, here is a SS from yesterday (18.9.2012.):

Mitzu, check out wowhead and other stuff regarding 4.0.3 or 4.0.6, I'm pretty sure they said they should be getting max 3-6 and 3-7 for dwarves. =/ This is before the boost for fragment finds in 4.3 .

Also, I would recommend that as a solution to being sent to high level zones for archaeology, such as Hyjal, Twilight Highlands while leveling up archaeology as a non-85, that the skill requirement be tied with Uldum / Tol'Vir digsites, which opens up at 450 (which is normal). Currently, you can get digsites in Hyjal / TH when you pick up archaeology at lvl 1. =/ Clearly not normal. 450 skill level is on par with Cataclysm skill levels, and would make it much more viable for players that are not 85 yet.

e un fragment intr-un copac si nu pot ajunge la el,implicit mi-a blocat si zona,mai exact in est de Marshal`s Stand in Un`goro Crater,m-am urcat pe toate crengile copacului,pe sub el si nimic,sigur e in copac.....e un copac mare mai verde decat restul cu radacina putin iesita in afara,va rog sa rezolvati pentru ca imi blocheaza o zona de fossil...ms mult:)
