Greetings fellow wow players. Some of you might know me as Laky, a 3-spec paladin on exodus, I currently hold #1 in rated bg there (not much compared to other realms, but with our pop...) (yea Mofu you still need 1 more xD ) and for those who dont, hello and nice to meet you!

I used to PvP a lot for some time, eventually switched to PvE and after I got every single item from normals and doing HC only now, I had much more time to play something else. After trying out a few games I finaly went with League of legends, a dota style game (for those of you that dont know what dota is, it's a 5v5 clash but you progress trough the game, example you get in with full blood and finish the game in full heroic vici )

I absolutely love the game, the graphics are eye candy, the gameplay is good, so I decided to make this topic to promote the game to other players who might be end-game (at this moment waiting for those new bosses) if you want to try it out, I would just ask you to follow the link below, if you register trough it I will get a minor bonus. You dont really need to promote the game since its the most popular game in the world atm. lol

Is LoL more popular than WoW? With 10M+ on retail and at least 1 more million on privates?

I doubt that LoL will last as long as wow will.

roggi, LoL will last 100% longer then WoW.

WoW will stop getting updated and will be forgoten in a year or two.

But LoL is getting updated every week with new stuff 'n shizzle so it will be longer for sure.

well, in my experience, things tend to go the other way around. They used to say that wow will die during wotlk, then during cata and even now but its still holding up.
Iam pretty sure lol will be here a long time but not that much.

14 years is a very long time and wow is still holding up.
I think that they will both go down at the same time. But WoW is good 4-5 years in advance.

roggi, wow is holding up becouse of the expansions. but now MoP is last expansion, so sooner or later ppl will get tired of it.

Blizzard is working on next expansion already and that expansion will be about old Gods and how they went insane.
One of their developers tweeted that few days ago, so MoP won't be the last expansion

Yes, Blizzard is working on "Next Gen" MMO called Titan . It should be up next year, but that's another story. We'll have our next patch for World of Warcraft so don't worry about WoW dying
