No friends - it's about the WORLD... OF WARCRAFT.

Yes - the GAME WE PLAY!

This is a more introspective topic than others, because I'm not going to give you examples of raids, or loots, or whatever.

Instead, I'd like you guys to share your opinion about the COOLEST STORY BRO - which is the story of WARCRAFT itself.



As most of you know - World of Warcraft evolved from the Warcraft series of games by Blizzard - which were strategy/resource-gathering games.

Most games years ago - the story was very simple.

You had orcs who invaded Azeroth, killing lots of people, and burning Stormwind to the ground.
This was the plot of the first game - hence the title:
"WARCRAFT: ORCS VS HUMANS"




Over the years, and through the course of half a dozen games/expansions - the story evolved into something richer, deeper, and more meaningful.

We were introduced to characters whose names and backgrounds mirrored the greatest heroes in tales of legends, or history itself:
= Thrall, who was raised from slavery, breaking those shackles, and finding a home for his people
= Arthas and Illidan - two people who sought power in an attempt to save their friends - yet due to despair and greed became corrupted by it
= Rhonin and Krasus - who were simple NPCs in the game, but had big adventures in the novels
= and many more


From the Orc invasion of Azeroth - we were told more about their corruption by the Burning Legion, the massacre of the Draenei, the rift between the Night Elves and Blood Elves, the plots of C'thun and the Old Gods, the shaping of the world by the Titans and their gifts to the Great Dragonflights.



These things - the story, the lore, the books - make me feel how rich the game is - there's a story to the places you visit, and the major NPCs you meet, the raids you do, and even the battlegrounds you fight in.


Part of me is disappointed - with Mists of Pandaria.
After all - we went from fighting Old Gods, preventing Kil'Jaeden from arriving, vanquishing the Lich King, defeating two great Dragon Aspects...

...
.....
......... to fighting insects with panda friends?!?!?!??

That's a bit of a 'step down' for me.



Anyway like the topic says:

It's about the story of the WARCRAFT series / WOW.
If you are a fan of it - or if you remember great moments (missions, cutscenes, videos);
Or if you read the novels;
Or if you watched a Jaina Proudmoore hentai

Ok, I'll post one!

The qiraji were bugs too.. that bit of the story was pretty well done. And anyway, there also seems to be a force behind these new bugs.. kinda like old times actually. lol

And anyway, Mists is still pretty new.. kinda early to be disappointed at it, no?

I think they really did a good job though, with the story. At the very least, it's got depth XD
